All prospective users of The Centre need to book using the information from the comprehensive website: www.asheldhambookings.zoomshare.com

We can, assuming requests are made with bookings, consider archery, survival training sessions, links to mountain biking centres, watersports, and remote walks and coastal exploring: a recent national broadsheet newspaper rated the coast here as one of the six remotest locations in England. Staff at the Centre have explored every footpath across the Dengie peninsula east of the village – and in all seasons. Deep midwinter walking is to be recommended – though take a guide with expert local knowledge.

KS2, 3, & 4 Geography fieldwork can be undertaken in the Asheldham area. Our Centre has a prime location exactly equidistant from the vast Blackwater estuary, North Sea coast, and River Crouch.

For specialist survival training from one hour to one week, problem solving and teambuilding courses, night exercises, day walks, and geography fieldwork,
contact: huntertraining@ hotmail.com

Outdoor Activities
Outdoor activities can be undertaken on a variety of sites including the scrub land around the copse, and land loaned by Dengie Crops. Please contact our Warden for this facility. Other areas of land may become available to us in the near future. Access to some of this land is by kind permission of Mr M. Rose of Asheldham Hall. The Warden is able to lead walks in the area.
